About Us

Sustainable by Nature is based in Santa Ana, Costa Rica, and has the flexibility to work in other locations around the world. We frequently work for private companies, cooperation and development agencies, non governmental organizations, local community organizations and municipality governments.

We support businesses and destinations in finding profitable, practical solutions to sustainable tourism challenges, to position themselves for success and to maximize the economic benefits without jeopardizing environmental, cultural and social integrity. 

Sustainable by Nature has gained a solid reputation as a leader in the field of sustainable tourism. We have worked on tourism plans, strategies and products, as well as on training programs design and implementation, at a national, regional and community level.

When required, we supplement our capacity by partnering with other consultancies. We have developed a close working relationship with professionals in parallel disciplines, including conservation planners, engineers, architects, biologists, naturalists, interpreters/nature guides, and others.
