Preserving the community’s history through oral techniques

Oral history is a primary source of information based on a face to face, generally recorded interview with an individual. It aims to document a person's o community’s life experiences or preserve the memories of a historic event, using witnesses’ testimonies. The resulting information can enhance the archives of a community or cultural center or museum, generate a documentary, exhibit or publication, or serve as input for an authentic tourism product. In Sustainable by Nature we can offer this component as a complete service or as part of a participatory process, through training and empowerment, to be implemented by members of a community or organization.
